The Delaware Advisory Council on Career and Technical Education is a state agency established by Delaware Code, Title 14, Chapter 86.  The Council is composed of individuals appointed by the Governor from both the private and public sectors throughout the State.


The membership includes representatives from business, industry, labor and trade organizations and educators representing secondary, post-secondary, career guidance and counseling, special populations and special education.


The Council monitors and evaluates career and technical education programs and services in local school districts, agencies and other organizations to ensure that these programs and services meet established state and federal standards.
